Beginning in July we will have an orthodontist on staff to provide orthodontic treatment!

Office Philosophy

Dr. Wang has always had a deep love and affection for children. To ensure patients receive quality treatment, Dr. Wang has experienced staff who functions as a well-oiled machine. "My staff is unbelievable," enthuses Dr. Wang. "Patients are as trusting and as attached to staff members as they are to me. They are very good with the children and work well as a team. Parents always comment on what a wonderful staff I have. We work together as one big happy family." Eight personnel, including Dr. Spamer, serve the office while Dr. Wang examines patients. "It's not just a dental visit, it is educational and fun. Our mission is to provide a dental experience that makes kids say 'I can't wait to come back.' Our work philosophy is to treat children as if they were our own." Judging from the happy faces of her young patients, it is obvious Dr. Wang has succeeded.

Office Hours

Information to be applied soon, please visit again.

Appointments

Please make every effort to keep your appointments. With children in school and parents at work, everybody's time, including ours, is valuable. We make every effort to confirm your appointments. Since appointments are reserved, our office needs a 48-hour notice for any cancellation or a $45 fee will be charged for failed appointment.

Special Care for Children

The nursing infant, the school age child, and the teenager all have unique dental requirements.  As your children grow from infancy and into teen years, their dental needs will change.  Pediatric Dentistry is a specialty devoted to recognizing and treating children's dental problems while they can be managed easily.  When those problems are diagnosed early, parents can usually avoid costly dental repairs and more expensive orthodontic treatment later.

We make sure that our treatment is gentle, relaxed and at the same time carefully professional.  When your child visits our office you will be surprised to find a friendly and colorful place that has been designed just for them.  Feel free to ask any of our staff to show and explain any of our procedures and safeguards involving your child.

Safety

We are as concerned about your child's health as you are.  That is why our office meets or exceeds all government standards for sterilization.  We take great care in preparing for each visit, reviewing charts, preparing the room, selecting instruments, and carefully heat sterilizing all instruments before your child's visit.

We wear disposable gloves and masks which are changed between each patient, protective eyewear, we scrub our hands with an approved germicidal soap before and after each patient, we carefully handle all disposable materials as recommended by federal governmental guidelines, and state and local regulatory agencies.  We take these and other precautions to make sure your child's visit is not only enjoyable but also, very safe!

Fees & Financial Arrangements

We are please to welcome you to our office. Our desire is to provide your children with highest quality dental care and to create caring relationships in a compassionate and friendly atmosphere. It is our policy to discuss our fees and financial arrangement openly and honestly with you.  Regardless of whether you have dental insurance or not, you are responsible for the full financial cost of dental treatment.

If you have dental insurance, we will estimate the portion of the total cost that may be covered by your dental insurance plan. The mouth, gums, and teeth are constantly changing due to the progressive nature of dental disease. The actual costs of dental treatment may differ from the estimate due to our treatment of this progressive dental disease. In the event that the actual costs of dental treatment differ from the estimated costs, you will be responsible for any additional costs. Every effort will be made to notify you if this occurs. Total patient portion can only be determined after the treatment is done and payment from your insurance has been received.

It is the patient's responsibility to inform our office of any dual coverage, changes or termination of their dental insurance before any dental treatment. If insurance benefits are assigned to the doctor, you will be responsible for paying your deductible and co-payments at the time of service. You are responsible for paying all changes not covered by your insurance company, including all fares considered above your insurance company's usual and customary fee schedule.

Your insurance benefits are a contract between you and your employer. The amount of coverage you will receive will depend on the quality of the plan purchased by your employer, not the fees of the doctor.

Payment for services are due at the time of service is rendered. For your convenience we gladly accept personal checks and most major credit cards. There will be a $25 charge for personal checks returned by your bank for any reason. We also offer a dental charge card, Care Credit.

If you wish, our office will process an insurance claim for payment of dental treatment payable directly to us. You will then pay only your portion as discussed on your financial arrangement plan. If you wish to process the insurance claim for payment yourself with payment coming directly to you, then you will be required to pay us for the entire cost of dental treatment as discussed on your financial arrangement plan. The office cannot carry balances longer than 90 days, regardless of insurance payment. After 90 days, we will inform you of the delinquent account by letter and if no action is taken to clear the account, this office will be required to employ a collection agency to collect the payment.

The parent or guardian who brings the child for his/her initial visit is responsible for payment independent of what a divorce doctrine may state. Reimbursement must be made between divorced parents. We will not intervene.
